The LSUA Children's Center has been open since June 9, 1999. We are licensed as a "Class A Child Day Care Center" by the State of Louisiana Bureau of Licensing. We accept children 12 months to 12 years old.
Top priority for registration is given to students enrolled on campus who require full-time care for their children, then to those who require part-time care. We also provide child care to faculty and staff members, as well as members of the Alumni and Friends Association AFA Membership Form.
The Center will be open between semesters; closing only for official LSUA holidays and 3 workdays throughout the year. Operating hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Information
For a child to be added to the waiting list, an Application Form and a Registration Form must be completed and returned to the Children’s Center. When an opening occurs and the parent is notified, a Family Visit is scheduled. This is for the child and at least one parent to meet with the director, visit in the classroom with the teachers and children, and to finalize enrollment procedures. This is also when the registration fee and first weeks tuition is due.
To enroll your child, a Deposit of One Week’s Tuition must be paid in advance. Checks/money orders (NO CASH PLEASE) should be made payable to LSUA Children’s Center. Please write child’s name on all correspondence and payments.
